While nearly everyone shops on Amazon, not everyone knows the best tricks and features to help you get the most out of the website. After years of being a loyal Amazon Prime customer, I’ll share with you my six favorite ways to find the best deals, save money, and get exactly what you want while shopping on Amazon.

1 Get an Amazon Prime membership

The smartest Amazon Prime members know that an Amazon Prime membership is worth its $139 yearly cost. If you shop on Amazon regularly, the savings you’ll get with free shipping, Amazon Prime Video included, quick delivery, Amazon Music, exclusive deals, and more will easily make up that cost and then some. Some of the lesser-known benefits of a Prime membership include discounts for EBT and Medicaid users, discounts for students, and the ability to share your membership with household members.

At this point, Amazon Prime needs no introduction, and it’s easy to see why. With benefits like complimentary one- and two-day shipping, and access to Prime Video and Amazon Music bundled in, the services offers a lot for the price of $15 per month.

2 Switch to Amazon Pharmacy

Who likes driving to the pharmacy to pick up prescriptions every month? I was thrilled to find out how easy it was to switch my prescriptions to Amazon Pharmacy and get my medications delivered to my door automatically. Once you sign up, you can search for and add your doctor, update your profile, and click “transfer a prescription” to move a prescription to Amazon Pharmacy. Additionally, once you’ve set up your profile, you can just tell your doctor or nurse to send a new prescription to Amazon Pharmacy. Even better, you can add your insurance information to only pay your co-pay. Additionally, Amazon Pharmacy also offers Prime savings for deep discounts if you don’t have insurance, and manufacturer coupons to help you save money.

3 Save on groceries with Amazon Fresh

Amazon Fresh offers both online and brick-and-mortar grocery store shopping in select locations. While anyone can shop at the stores, Amazon members can shop at an Amazon Fresh with an Amazon Dash Cart and simply walk out of the store when they’re done and the items will be billed automatically to their Amazon account. If you have a Prime Visa or Prime Store card, you’ll also earn 5% back for every purchase. If you prefer to have your groceries delivered, orders over $100 are delivered for free, while orders under $100 include a fee of $6.95, and orders under $50 incur a delivery charge of $9.95. You can also order your groceries online and pick them up without a service fee.
